Version 2.0. In force since 5 October 2026
Your links never expire
The FattyURL Promise, version 2.0.
1. No ads on your links
Links made with a free account never show ads, pop-ups or pages in between. Visitors go straight to the destination.
2. Links that never expire
With a free account, your links work forever, even if you never pay us. Links made without an account from 7 October 2026 expire after 30 days without a click. Links on your own domain work while your plan is active plus 7 days, then carry on at fattyurl.com.
3. Free stays free
Shortening and QR codes need no sign-up. A free account adds analytics, custom slugs, editing and CSV export, free forever. Paid plans add your own domain, bulk CSV import and the API.
4. Good links stay on
We never switch off a link for being old, popular or unpaid. Links that break our rules, like phishing or malware, are paused, never deleted, and we tell you why. Write to us and we'll re-check, and restore it if it's clean.
5. No monthly cap
To stop bots, we limit how fast new links are made. Clicks are never limited. Links to sites that phishing kits favour, like free website builders, need a free account.
6. Fair notice
Every version of this promise stays on this page, and your links keep the promise they were made under. If we ever shut down, you get 3 months' notice and can export everything.
